We are looking for an ambitious and driven Local Logistics Expert for our Danish Head Office in Hvidovre. What does the role involve?
INTERNAL EXPERT As our Logistics Expert, you will undertake a critical role, as you will support the sales planning for large customer projects to ensure the availability of stock and where necessary, develop bespoke delivery solutions for specific customer needs.
You will attend ‘Sales Forecast Integration’ (SFI) meetings together with the Danish leadership team and regional Materials Management, to provide a status update for customer projects in both the planning and execution phases. You will use the SFI platform to alert management and provide solutions to any risks you foresee in the control of Van stock. You will be responsible for controlling Account Managers Van stock, ensuring that it’s physically counted, and old-tools are regularly sold-off.
Having a broad interface, you will need to be able to communicate with different levels of the organization, with both managers and Account Managers, and be able to forecast and explain.
EXTERNAL EXCELLENCE Leading the review of Transport Shop Floor Management will enable you to proactively steer the service level to the business via Continuous Improvement Initiatives, ensure transport quality, and the control of delivery performance. You will work closely with our carriers and be responsible for monthly carrier invoice checks and claim submissions. You will assist the management of transport to customers by ensuing defined service levels are achieved.
YOUR TEAM You will be a part of a cross-regional team that includes colleagues in Sweden and Finland. You will closely work with the Danish organisation and the Northern Europe team located in Manchester. Your legal manager will be in Denmark, and you need to be able to balance this complex setup.

What you need is:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant Logistics and/or Materials Management experience preferred
- SAP experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office (especially excel)
- Fluent in Danish and English (written & oral)
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
- Open for an international career and a move abroad as a next step
- Details oriented
