We are looking for a Product Manager responsible for the products groups Heavy Duty Power Tools and Diamond. Heavy Duty Power Tools are our flagship products in Denmark and along with Diamond, these product areas stand for high differentiation and innovation.

What does the role involve?

You will be part of a team of five Product Managers, each responsible for their respective business units. You will be responsible for driving the business of the two important business areas of Heavy Duty Power Tools and Diamond, identifying and acting on the opportunities in the market in order to grow the business and gain market share. You will work with our global business units as well as our Northern European region in order to define the strategic direction and plan launches and activities. In active cooperation with Denmark's most competent sales force, you will ensure that our employees and customers have a clear understanding of the added value Hilti’s products and services offer. You will proactively contribute to the efforts of our sales force in developing customer relations and thereby creating enthusiastic customers.

As a Product Manager at Hilti, it is your job to continuously introduce new and innovative products on the market and manage the life cycle of your product areas. This position requires analyses of the market and competitor landscapes and close collaboration with colleagues in our Northern European Regional Office in Manchester in order to understand how best to develop the business. The main tasks of the role are:

• Product launches
• Product Life Cycle management
• Product Portfolio Management
• Competence training with sales colleagues
• Optimization of value proposition, pricing and other adaptations to the Danish market
• Other market-related initiatives

Good project management skills are an advantage in this role, as there are often numerous projects running in parallel. Moreover, knowledge of the products and construction is an advantage, although not a prerequisite. Finally, high learning agility is essential to navigate in a dynamic environment with responsibility for products that are used in various applications and for different types of customers.

What you need is:

  • Preferably a university degree in a relevant field (Marketing, business administration or engineering)
  • Minimum 2 years combined sales or marketing experience
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen and marketing skills, e.g. market research, market data analysis, competitor sensing, product launch and lifecycle, communications, promotions
  • Result-oriented with drive and engagement
  • Strong networking skills and understanding of key partners and influencers
  • High learning agility and ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, Danish and English
  • Strong MS Office skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
